SEC Reporting Analyst in Boca Raton, FL

Our client, a highly respectable, publicly traded is looking for a SEC Reporting Analyst in a consultant role. Responsibilities for the SEC Reporting Analyst includes XBRL reporting and XBRL process for creating XBRL formatted SEC required financial statements; applicant should be able to review XBRL data tagging to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting; applicant should possess ability to explain tagging process as well analyzing and preparing the financial reporting activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates and teams. Responsible for ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations. Prepares and oversees the annual, quarterly and other public financial statements and earnings releases filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Forms 10-K's, 10-Q's, 11-K and 8-K's. Prepares the call report and other regulatory reports as assigned. Prepares presentations for the Board of Directors and its committees. Responsible for dealing with internal, external and governmental auditors and examiners with respect to accounting matters. Adherence to GAAP and accounting pronouncements as well as advising Chief Financial Officer on adoption and implementation of new accounting pronouncements and guidance as appropriate. Ad hoc analysis and reporting as necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA strongly preferred, big four or Regional background, with 5+ years of SEC reporting related skills required in a combination of public accounting and private industry preferred. Advanced Ms excel skills, including development of complex macros, formulas, charts and graphs. Excellent technical accounting ability is essential.
